TO: All Staff Members FROM: Staff Personnel Office DATE: April 8, 1974 Mr. Edward Eilderts, Box 267, Aplington, Iowa, former employee of the University of Northern Iowa, died April 5, 1974, at his home. Mr. Eilderts was employed on April 4, 1956, as a custodian at the University. He had been on a disability leave from his position since 1972. Funeral services for Mr. Eilderts were held at 1:30 Monday, April 8, at Bethel Reform Church at Aplington, with burial at Pleasant View Cemetery. The flag was flown at half-mast during the time of the funeral services for Mr. Eilderts.
