Ardyce Hansen Ardyce N. Hansen, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo. She was born May 9, 1920, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Andrew J. and Anna Helena Nelson Jensen. She married Harold H. Hansen on January 6, 1946, in Cedar Falls. He died November 12,1984. Mrs. Hansen worked at Woolworth's as an assistant manager and later became a mail clerk at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 1977. Survived by: a son, David (Karen) of Andover, Minnesota; two daughters, Dorothy (Kenneth) Boll of La Porte City and Cindy (Steven) Boever of Faribault, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Christopher Ramsey, Adam Ramsey, Angelo (William) Groobman, Cheri (Greg) Horrighs, David Hansen, Shawn (Leslie) Hansen, Thad (Annie) Soy, and Dylan Frohn; ten great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by: a son, Daniel; a daughter, Debra; two brothers; Bill and Merrill Jensen; and a sister, Mildred Thode. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home assisted the family.
