Richard H. Davis, building services coordinator at UNI (Price Laboratory School), died at home (1918 Iowa Street, Cedar Falls) as a result of a heart attack at approximately 10:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 1983. Mr. Davis was 54 and began work at UNI in October 1968.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 1983, at the Bethel United Presbyterian Church in Waterloo. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Cedar Falls.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Joyce, who works in the Registrar's Office at UNI; three children, Mrs. Judy Harkrider, Waterloo; Brian Davis, Waterloo; and Neil Davis, who lives at home. Also surviving Mr. Davis is his mother, Zenaide Davis, Cedar Falls; a brother, Jack Davis, New Hartford (also works at UNI); and a sister, Ada Horn, Cedar Falls.
