Mona Wiesley Mona J. Wiesley, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the Western Home Communities Martin Center. She was born December 4, 1927, in Stuart, daughter of Leroy and Evelyn Reighard Lowe, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Emmett Moore. She married Robert G. Wiesley on August 11,1946, in Guthrie Center. He died May 9,1994. Mrs. Wiesley was a 1945 graduate of Guthrie Center High School and was employed as an administrative assistant in the alumni office at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 1988. Survived by: two sons, Jon (Jean) of Cedar Falls and Russell (Ilyeen) of Waukee; a daughter, Linda (Craig) Cool of Urbandale; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Janet) Lowe of Perry; and a sister, Charlene Chabin of Seattle, Washington. Preceded in death by: a son, Martin Louis. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at. Richardson Funeral Home, with inurnment in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, in the spring. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Western Home Communities in lieu of flowers.
