Mina Jane Toebe, 79, of Allison, died at home Saturday, August 19, 2006, of natural causes.
She was born August 22, 1926, in Kesley, daughter of Jerald and Hermina Kappel Brinkman. She married Ethan Toebe on October 5, 1945, in Rockford. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Toebe was a cook at the Allison Healthcare Center and a custodian at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.
Survivors include: two daughters, Donna (Paul) Eaton and Judy Archer, both of Waterloo; a son, Myron (Mary) of Shell Rock; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: a grandson; and four brothers.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. James Lutheran Church, Allison, with burial in Allison Cemetery. Public visitation 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Allison.
