Mildred E. Bundy, 88, of Cedar falls, died Wednesday, December 19, 2008, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. She was born January 5, 1919, in Cedar Falls, daughter of George C. and Dagmar E. Jensen Petersen. She married LeRoy Bundy on September. 30, 1939, in Cedar Falls. He died December 29, 1992. Mrs. Bundy was an educational secretary at Northern University High School for twenty-five years, retiring in 1984. Survivors include: two daughters, Joan E. (Duane) Conradi of Waverly and Jean (Walt) Combes of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren, Denise (Mike) Paul, Dawn Conradi, Brad Conradi, Jillane (Kevin) McBride, and Stefanie Forrester; and eleven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: her parents; four brothers, Bernard, Elmer, Lester, and Sidney Petersen. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Public visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
