Allen, Benefits and Systems Manager SUBJECT: Obituary Notice DATE: November 4, 1997 Marjorie Mohler, 69, of Cedar Falls died Friday, October 31, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of natural causes. Marjorie was the secretary to the Dean of Education during her employment at UNI. She began working at UNI in 1970 and retired in 1989. She was born May 21, 1928, in Charles City, daughter of James and Anna Schaffer Gunn. She married Howard D. Mohler on June 22, 1947, in Charles City. He died August 8, 1990. Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Linda Mohler Bastron of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Katheryn Gunn of Charles City and LaVerna Hansen of Floyd. Services were held Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
