Kenneth V. Krumlinde

To: All Staff Members From: Daryl Stoner, Acting Director Maintenance & Operations Kenneth V. Krumlinde, former motor vehicle operator from the plant services-grounds department of the university, passed away Thursday June 18, 1981. Mr. Krumlinde was employed by the university on August 13, 1958, as a custodian in the building services department. He later transferred to the grounds services and worked there until illness forced him to go on disability in January 1978. While at the university Mr. Krumlinde had worked in the Men's Gym as custodian equipment attendant, attendant in the laundry facilities building; and his duties while in the grounds services department consisted of mowing, snow removal, furniture moving, and freight delivery. Mr. Krumlinde is survived by his wife Ruth of 1417 West Nineteenth Street, Cedar Falls; one son Dennis of Waterloo; one grandchild; his mother; one brother; and two sisters. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 22, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens of Cedar Falls.
