Diane Barney Diane Lynn Eastman Barney, 55, of Aplington, formerly of Cedar Falls and Waterloo, died Friday, August 14, 2009, at Maple Manor Care Center, Aplington. She was born June 25, 1954, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Kenneth and Barbara Wolfe Eastman. She married John Panther, and they later divorced. She married Roger Barney, Sr., and they later divorced. Mrs. Barney graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1982 and was a custodian at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. Survived by: a daughter, Krystal Barney of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, Draven, Jaden, Heaven, and Aryssa; and two brothers, Larry (Pam) Eastman of Shell Rock and Robert (Cindy) Eastman of Cedar Falls. Preceded in death by: her parents and grandparents. Services: 1 p. m. Tuesday at Living Water Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Hillside Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Dahl Van-Hove Schoof Funeral Home assisted the family. Memorials: may be directed to maple Manor Care Center, Aplington.
