Diane Tournier Diane A. Tournier, 61, of Waterloo, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. She was born February 11, 1953, in Waterloo, daughter of Richard and Hazel Goodman Tournier. She married Kerry Swanson and they later divorced. Diane graduated from Waterloo West High School and had worked as a secretary at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, for eighteen years. Survived by: a son, Kyle (Missy Spore) Tournier of Waterloo; a grandson, Aiden Tournier; a brother, Walt (Kathleen) Tournier of Waterloo; a niece, Lindsey Hoover of Adel; and a nephew, Jay Tournier of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: her parents. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel, with inurnment at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the chapel. Memorials: may be directed to the family. Condolences can be posted at www.KearnsFuneralService.com.
