Clark Hart Brown, former professor, dies at age 80 Clark Hart Brown, 80, former professor of manual arts at the college, died April 23, 1960, in Providence, Rhode Island, following a short illness.  Mr. Brown was a member of the college faculty from 1906 until 1930, and held the rank of assistant professor.  He was the husband of the late Maude Reedy Brown.  Born in Story County, May 20, 1879, he attended public schools in Iowa, and attended Iowa State Teachers College.  Mr. Brown lived in Newport, Oregon, after leaving Cedar Falls, and moved to Providence a year before his death.
