Mr. Bart A. Austhof, age 51, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 10, 2015. He was born March 17, 1964, in Grand Rapids. Bart graduated from the University of Michigan with a master’s degree in Library Science. He served as the executive vice president of the Builders Exchange of Michigan since 1996. Bart enjoyed cars, golf, and history. He was a member of the MENSA organization. Surviving are his children: Ethan and Bethany; his mother, Nancy Austhof; brother Bret Austhof. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Austhof. The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Georgetown Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Road N. W. Memorial contributions can be made to Mel Trotter Mission, Grand Rapids.
