Vonee H. Wogens, 87, of the Western Home Martin Center, Cedar Falls, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
She was born September 1, 1913, in Savanna, Illinois, daughter of Charles and Grace Parr Heil. She married Carroll A. "Chick" Wogens on November 29, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri. He died May 25, 1990. Mrs. Wogens had been employed as a secretary at the University of Northern Iowa.
Survived by: two daughters, Cheryl Budlong of Cedar Falls and Charlene Davis of Columbia, South Carolina; and four grandsons.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. today at St. John Lutheran Church, with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
Memorials: may be directed to the church or the Salvation Army. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
