Travis M. Hildebrandt, 24, died of accidental electrocution at his home on Thursday, September 27, 1990.
Travis began his job as a Press Operator I at UNI on September 24, 1990. Travis worked previously at Congdon Printing and also at UNI on a temporary basis.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 1, 1990, at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church with burial in St. John's United Church of Christ-Siegel Cemetery, Tripoli.
Travis was born on August 24, 1966, son of Robert and Mary Block Hildebrandt. He married Leslie McCulloch on February 20, 1988; and they have one 23 month old daughter, Emmylynn.
Survivors include his wife and daughter; his father, Robert Hildebrandt of Tripoli; his mother, Mary Grosse of Cedar Falls; a brother, Scott of Norwalk; three sisters, Crystal Grosse of Campbell, California, Danielle Hildebrandt of Milford, Massachusetts, and Julie Folkers of Columbus, Mississippi; paternal grandmother, Lavera Hildebrandt of Tripoli; maternal grandfather, Ray Block of Tripoli; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Grosse of Cedar Falls; and paternal great-grandmother, Hattie Chandler of Cedar Falls. Travis was preceded in death by a brother, Todd.
