Ruth E. Hills, 64, died of cancer at Sartori Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 30, 1989.
Ruth began her employment at UNI in September 1974 and last worked as Storekeeper II in the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. She had been on long term disability since 1987.
Visitation will be at Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls after 9 a.m. Friday, June 2, 1989. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 1989 at First Baptist Church, 123 West 7th Street, Cedar Falls. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls, after the services.
Ruth was born October 8, 1924, in Waukon, daughter of Henry and Esther Flage Krumme. She married (John) Richard Hills on November 9, 1951, in Dunkerton.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Richard; four sons, Norval, of Altoona, Daniel, of Cedar Falls, Alan, of Davenport, and David, of Elkhart, Indiana; two daughters, Linda Wright of Montpelier, Indiana, and Bonnie J. McCampbell of Thornton, Illinois; and twelve grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the church or World Home Bible League, South Holland, Illinois.
