Reiner A. Fecht

Reiner A. Fecht, 94, of Allison, died Thursday, September 5, 2002, at Waverly Municipal Hospital, Waverly, of natural causes. He was born December 15, 1907, in Cogswell, North Dakota, son of Bruno and Katie Rieken Fecht.  He married Tillie Eilderts on February15, 1940, in Butler County.  She preceded him in death. Mr. Fecht was a farmer, a custodian at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, and was caretaker of Stout Cemetery, Stout. Survivors include:  two daughters, Harriet (Kermit) Pothast of Fredericksburg and Mary Fecht of Waverly; two sons, Gary (Karen) of Shell Rock and Merle of Waco, Texas; two grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Kramer of Shell Rock. Preceded in death by:  a daughter, Lois; four brothers; and a sister. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Reformed Church of Stout, Stout, with burial in Bethel Reformed Church Cemetery, rural Aplington.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Allison.
