Announcement of the death of Miss Myrtle E. Gaffin, who for many years was a member of the staff of the Department of Business Education, was received here late on Friday, June 7.
Miss Gaffin left Cedar Falls for McAllen, Texas, in 1955. She has been ill for some time and was living in a nursing home there at the time of her death.
Miss Gaffin received her B. A. degree from the State College of Iowa in 1923 and the M. A. degree from the State University of Iowa in 1930. She did additional graduate work at the University of Colorado and the University of Southern California. She was a member of the State College of Iowa staff from 1926 to 1951.
