Walton, Director of Personnel Date: April 17, 1973 Mr. Melvin Oehler, a former University employee, died at the age of seventy-eight on Sunday, April 15, at Sartori Memorial Hospital. Mr. Oehler was employed for twenty-one years in the maintenance department at the University, retiring in May 1961. Services will take place at 2 P.M., Wednesday at the Dahl-Van Hove- Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The flag will be flown at half-mast during the time of the funeral services in memory of Mr. Oehler.
