Mixsell, Personnel Director Word has been received in our office of the death of Joseph Donovan who worked as a groundskeeper in the Plant Services Department until his retirement in 1974. Mr. Donovan died October 5, 1984, at Sartori Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 10, 1984, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cedar Falls, with burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Cedar Falls. A Rosary will be held at Dahl-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., where visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Joseph Donovan was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He is survived by a son, Patrick J. Donovan of Waverly; a granddaughter, Lisa Marie of Waterloo; and a brother, Frank of West Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (McMahon) Donovan, who died on September 27, 1984.
