John Franklin Hixon, 67, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of natural causes.
He was born May 26, 1934, in Benton County, son of William H. and Allazona Allensworth Hixon. Mr. Hixon worked as a security officer for the University of Northern Iowa Public Safety Department until retiring in 1990. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survived by: a half sister, Gwen Dolyn Walton of Phoenix.
Inurnment: will take place at a later date in the Center Point Cemetery, Center Point. There will be no visitation. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
