Frances J. Crouter, 77, of 420 E. 11th Street, formerly of 2513 Walnut Street, Cedar Falls, died Friday, October 29, 2004, at the Western Home Communities, Elizabeth Martin Health Center, Cedar Falls.
She was born May 1, 1927, in Cedar Falls.
Ms. Crouter received her B. A. and M. A. from Iowa State Teachers College (UNI). She was a biology instructor in several Western states and taught for a short time with the teaching department at the University of Northern Iowa.
Preceded in death by: her mother, Vie Ufford.
There will be no visitation or services. Her body was deeded to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
