  Beverly Wirtz Beverly A. Wirtz, 73, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 18, 1934, in Waterloo, daughter of Joe and Leona Dickenson Stocks.  She married Wilbert Wirtz on November 26, 1951, in Waterloo.  He died May 19, 2007. Mrs. Wirtz was employed as a cook with Allen Memorial Hospital and later with the University of Northern Iowa until her retirement. Survivors include:  two sons, Randy (Roxanne) of Janesville and Michael of Cedar Falls; eight daughters, Sandra (Steve) Siemens of Traer, Janette (Michael) Kvidera of Marshalltown, Nancy Chapman, Vickie Wirtz, Lou Ann Wirtz, Robin (Dave) Anderson, and Rebecca (Darrin Gray) Wirtz, all of Waterloo, and Christine (Anthony) Bedard of Dunkerton; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services:  10:30 am. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary Rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Friday at the church. Memorials:  may be directed to Allen Hospital Foundation, Ravenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, or Cedar Valley Hospice.
