Betty Jeanne Wilson

     Betty Wilson Betty Jeanne Wilson, 82, of Cedar Falls, died on Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls following a long illness. Betty Jeanne was born November 12, 1922, the daughter of Mason and Lula Menuey Wheeler Koile.  She married Kenneth H. Wilson on May 27, 1942, in Missouri.  They shared fifty-four years of marriage and on September 17, 1996, Kenneth died.  Betty Jeanne worked for many years as a film editor for KWWL-TV and also as a secretary for Malcolm Price Laboratory School in Cedar Falls.  She was a former member of the Eastern Star and First Presbyterian Church in Hazelton.  Betty Jeanne loved bowling and was an avid Cub and Iowa Hawkeye fan. Survivors include:  one son, Bill (Joyce) Wilson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; one daughter, Kathy (Adrian) Erickson of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Eddie (Theressa) Wilson of Denton, Texas, Melisa (David) Hinders of Des Moines, Wade (Stacey) Wilson of Vail, Colorado, Leslie (Chad) Lyons of Denver, Angi (Brad) Fangman of Waterloo, and April (Jason) Pitts of Fairfax. Preceded in death by her two sisters, Neva deBooy and Verdis Wheeler. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.  Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
