February 23, 1988 TO: Deans, Directors, and Department Heads FROM: Robert Bowlsby, Director of Athletics RE: OBITUARY NOTICE OF ANNABEL HILL Annabel Hill, 61, died Saturday afternoon, February 20, 1988, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. Ann began working at the University of Northern Iowa on August 14, 1967, and at the time of her retirement on May 25, 1985, was the Athletic Business Manager. Private services were held at Dahl-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls today. Ann was born in Davenport, Iowa, on July 30, 1926, to Floyd and Elsie Davies. She married George Hill on September 11, 1948, at Bettendorf, Iowa. Ann is survived by her husband of 4214 Hillside Drive, Cedar Falls; a son, George Hill, Jr. of Farmington, Minnesota; 2 daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Stephen) Radosevich of North Liberty, Iowa, and Janet (Mrs. Rich) Berry of Lakeville, Minnesota; and 4 grandchildren.
