TO: All Staff Members FROM: Personnel Services Department DATE: January 8, 1980 Agnes Walsh, Secretary, Educational Psychology and Foundations, died at 7:00 A.M., January 8, 1980, at the Schoitz Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident Sunday the 6th of January. Agnes attended Cresco Public Schools and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper in Cresco before coming to the University in July 1964 as a Secretary in the Educational Clinic, where she continued to work until her death. Funeral services will be held at the Assumption Church, 221 Third Avenue West, Cresco, Iowa, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 12th. The Conway Funeral Home of Cresco will be in charge of services. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 15th, 7:00 P.M., St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 8th and Washington, Cedar Falls, Iowa. The flag will be flown at half-mast during the time of the funeral services. Funds received in Agnes Walsh's and Marilyn Wemark's names will be given to the UNI-AOP ongoing scholarship fund in their memory.
