Special Collections & University Archives is pleased to announce that the second batch of football films have been digitized and are now available online in UNI ScholarWorks!
These films, which range from black and white footage in 1963 to color video in 1969, are part of the UNI Football Game Films, 1958-1975 collection in University Archives. Originally recorded on reel to reel tapes that are increasingly at risk of deterioration and inaccessibility, digitization efforts for these films began in fall 2017 through a PawPrint fundraising campaign with the UNI Foundation. Digitization of this second batch began in 2018, and with donor support, approximately two thirds of the collection has been digitized to date.
