Mrs. Weems, Secretary in Religious Department Dies Mrs. Zatha Weems, former secretary in the department of religion, died Sunday, July 19, 1964. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 21, 1964. Mrs. Weems, a 1927 Iowa State Teachers College graduate, had worked in the religion office the past eleven years.  She left the office in May when she became ill. Avidly interested in young people, the late Mrs. Weems said, "The best investment for tomorrow is not in a bank, but in youth." In 1962 she organized a small student discussion group, the Old Crows, which met once a month to discuss personal, campus, national, and international problems. The late Mrs. Weems also wrote articles for national magazines such as Good Business and Christian Science Monitor and gave talks to business groups about today's youth.
