Trudy Olsen Trudy M. Olsen, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Sartori Memorial Hospital. She was born May 5, 1923, in rural Stout, daughter of Holger and Nicolina Christensen Christensen. She married Kenneth Olsen on November 19, 1943, in Cedar Falls, and they later divorced. Mrs. Olsen had been a secretary at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 1987. Survivors include: a son, James K. (Nancy) of Cedar Falls; a granddaughter, Kristie (Troy) Jacobsen of Bellevue; three great-grandsons, Taylor, Lucas, and Jillian Jacobsen; a brother, Jim (Esperenza) Christensen of San Luis Obispo, California; and five sisters, Ruby Degner of Arroyo Grande, California, Christie Smith of Alhambra, California, Val Wente of Cedar Falls, Eadie (Leonard) Juck and Chris Moon, both of Pismo, Beach, California. Preceded in death by a sister, Helen Rogers. At her request there will be no services. Her body was deeded to the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy.
