Allen, Benefits Coordinator SUBJECT:  Obituary Notice DATE:  April 28, 1992 Stanley D. Walvatne, 47, died of a brain aneurysm at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa, on Sunday, April 26, 1992. Stanley began his career at UNI in February 1987 and was working as a Custodian I in Campbell Hall at the time of his death. Friends may call on the family from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 1992, at Dahl-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, 1992, at 2:00 p.m. at the Maywood Wesleyan Church in Waterloo, with burial in Cedar Valley Garden of Memories. Stanley was born on May 17, 1947, in Iowa City, Iowa, son of Palmer and Merna Jermalnd Walvatne. Survivors include a son, David, stationed with the U. S. Navy in San Francisco; a daughter, Kelli of Waterloo; mother, Merna of West Union; two sisters, Mrs. Judy Sigafoos of West Union and Mrs. Janice Kallian of Webster Groves, Missouri; and three brothers, Norris of Tacoma, Washington, Kenny of Puyallup, Washington, and LaVerne of Waterloo.Stanley was preceded in death by his father. No memorial fund has been established.
