Robert Schneider, ca. 1970 Robert "Bob" Schneider, 62, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes. He was born August 4, 1948, in Baltimore, son of Andrew G., Jr. and Mary C. Cullen Schneider. Dr. Schneider received his bachelor's degree, M. S. W., and Ph. D. from the University of Maryland and was employed as an associate professor with the Department of Social Work at the University of Northern Iowa. Survived by: a sister, Terry MacFarland of New Jersey; a brother, Thomas of Baltimore; two nephews, Andrew and Daniel Schneider, both of Baltimore; a niece, Angie Schneider Johnson; and his friend, James McCullagh of Cedar Falls. Preceded in death by: his parents. Private memorial services: will be held at a later date in Baltimore. Richardson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
