Mr. Merrill L. Noble, caretaker at the Price Laboratory School building, died at his home last Friday, January 22, Mr. Noble was born at Riceville, Iowa, in 1911.
Mr. Noble joined the University of Northern Iowa in September 1968. Prior to his service with the University, Mr. Noble was employed by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Transit Company for fourteen years and by the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, for two years.
The Chapel of Memories East is in charge of funeral arrangements. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Concordia Lutheran Church, Waterloo. The flag will be flown at half mast during the funeral service in memory of Mr. Noble.
