At the time of his death Dr. Hansen was serving as Executive Secretary to the Iowa Business Education Association. His students and colleagues will remember Dr. Hansen with respect and affection. He was a dedicated teacher who set high standards for both himself and his students. As a teacher his special talent lay in his ability to inspire students to strive, with a remarkable willingness, to achieve the goals he asked them to set for themselves. As an advisor he gave unstintingly of his time in helping students with their problems and with their plans. Dr. Hansen has served the public schools of Iowa well. He was in demand as a consultant and as a speaker for various professional organizations and workshops.
