Joseph Siebenga Joseph William "Billy Joe" Siebenga, 72, formerly of Parkersburg, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Presbyterian Village, Ackley, from natural causes. He was born June 12, 1934, in Waverly, son of Joe and Louisa Weigmann Siebenga. He married Marjorie Menken on November 24, 1954, at the Christian Reformed Parsonage in Austinville. Mr. Siebenga attended Parkersburg High School, then attended one year of barber college in Waterloo. He worked for his father in his cement work, then worked at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works. He owned and operated a barber shop in Wellsburg, then moved to Parkersburg where he was employed part time in a barber shop in town and had a shop in his home. He also worked as a carpenter for the University of Northern Iowa for thirty-two years. Survivors include: his wife; a son, Mark (Deborah) of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Sharlene (Gregg) Knox of Madrid and Lisa (Matthew) Meether of Parkersburg; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by: a daughter, Mari Jo Siebenga; and an infant sister, Katherine Siebenga. Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Christian Reformed Church, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Parkersburg. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Parkersburg, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
