James B. Roberson

James B. Roberson died at his home in Pikeville, Tennessee, on April 19, 2006. He was the Coordinator of Student Teaching, Marshalltown, Iowa, from 1964 through 1984. He graduated from Bledsoe High School, was a graduate of George Peabody College (Vanderbilt University), and served as a school administrator with the U. S. Department of Defense in Germany, France, and Turkey. During World War II, he served with the 137th General Hospital Brigade. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (who is interred in Marshalltown), his parents, and four brothers. He is survived by four brothers and one sister, all of Pikeville, as well as nieces and nephews. Adapted from information provided by Professor Raymond Kuehl, June 2006.
