Walton, Director of Personnel DATE: January 20, 1972 Mrs. Elizabeth Sorensen, Night Hostess - Dormitory Service Department, passed away at Sartori Hospital, Cedar Falls, on Wednesday, January 19, of cancer. Mrs. Sorensen joined the staff of the University of Northern Iowa in September 1965. Her entire service period involved night hostess duties in Lawther Hall, where she was recognized as being very much aware of and concerned for the growth of the students with whom she came in contact. Services for Mrs. Sorensen will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. at St. Ansgar Lutheran Church. Friends may call at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home in Waterloo. The flag will be flown at half-mast during the time of the funeral services in memory of Mrs. Sorensen.
