Edith F. Larsen, 94, of Nora Springs, formerly of 2009 Main Street, Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, February 28, 2001, at the Nora Springs Care Center of natural causes.
She was born February 2, 1907, in Stewart, daughter of William H. and Frances M. Brown Linn. She married Arnold C. Larsen on August 25, 1934, in Waverly. He died December 31,1984.
Mrs. Larsen graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Waverly in 1927 and was a registered nurse at Sartori Memorial Hospital and later at the University of Northern Iowa Student Health Services.
Survived by: two daughters, Rita Bigger of Nora Springs and Mary Jean Schaible of Silver Spring, Maryland; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Tetzloff of Charles City: . Preceded in death by: 11 brothers and sisters.
Services: l p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until services Saturday at the church. Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
