Alfred W. Noehren

Noehren Hall was named for Alfred W. Noehren, president of the State Board of Regents from 1963 to 1965. Noehren was born in Fostoria, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa. He owned farm implement firms in Spencer and Terril, Iowa. He was a member of the Spencer City Council and director of the Northwest Federal Savings and Loan Association.
