Dorothy B. Schwab, 90, of Shell Rock, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at Waverly Municipal Hospital of natural causes. She was born January 24, 1913, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Louie J. and Pearl R. Miller Miller. She married Adam Schwab on June 30, 1934, in Cedar Falls. He died February 19, 1975. Mrs. Schwab worked in food service at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, for several years. Survived by: two sons, Larry (Alice) of Allison and Allen (Dorothy) of Shell Rock; a daughter, Gloria (James) DeGroote of Shell Rock; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Don (Sally) Miller of Janesville; and a sister, Della Howe of Janesville. Preceded in death by: two sons, Darrell and Richard; and a grandson. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Shell Rock, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
