Julia Jane Rozendaal, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, October 8, 2001, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of cerebral hemorrhages. She was born July 24, 1926, near Lynnville, daughter of Peter G. and Anna Mae Woody Rozendaal. She taught elementary school in rural Jasper County, Belle Plaine, Sac City, and Cedar Falls for 16 years. She was a professor emeritus at the University of Northern Iowa, where she taught for 24 years in the Department of Educational Psychology, retiring in 1988. She attended Central College, Pella, and earned a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and educational specialist degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
Survived by: two brothers, Edward Rozendaal of Colo and Wilbur Rozendaal of Lynnville. Preceded in death by: a brother.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Orchard Hill Reformed Church, with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Sully Cemetery, Sully. Friends may call for an hour before services Friday at the church. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
