Rosella May Paige, 89, of Dike, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital, Grundy Center. She was born May 9, 1923, in Dike, daughter of William H. and Amy Diekman Conradi. She married Charles B. Paige on June 21, 1945, at the Methodist Church, Dike. Mrs. Paige graduated from AIB, Des Moines. After a year of college, she worked as a secretary in the education department at Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls. She was the secretary to the superintendent of Dike High School for thirteen years. She later did secretarial work for Ed Wilson of Waterloo and had part-time jobs at Breezy Point Resort in Minnesota and Arizona.
Survived by: her husband; two daughters, Suzan Bienfang of Grundy Center and Diane Paige of Dike; a son, Joel (Chris) of Hubbard; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gloria (Jim) Gerstenkorn of Dike. Preceded in death by: a sister and brother-in-law, Clarence and Josephine Bowers; and a son-in-law, Jack Bienfang.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Methodist Church, Dike, where visitation begins at 9 a.m. Memorials: may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at the Dahl Funeral Home website.
