Wanda Rean McGraw, 101, of Bagley, Minnesota, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Cornerstone Nursing and Rehab Center, Bagley. She was born March 22, 1910, in Independence, daughter of Lloyd and Rose "Rene" Irena Miller Harkness. She married Paul F. McGraw on May 1, 1943, in Minneapolis. He died October 29, 2003. Mrs. McGraw graduated from Cedar Falls High School. She worked in the registrar's office at Iowa State Teachers College (UNI). She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Survived by: a daughter, Vicki (Lee) Magnuson of Bagley; and a sister, Renable Trainor of Evansdale.
Preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Thelma Roberts and Lois Shepard; and two brothers, K. B. and G. T. Harkness, Jr. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, where visitation begins at 10 a.m., with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Memorials: may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at the Kearns Funeral Service website. Wanda enjoyed knitting, needlework, and reading. As a senior, she took up bowling and at one time was on two senior bowling teams.
