Linda L. Lund, 82, of 803 W. 29th Street, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at home of natural causes. She was born December 27, 1917, in Makoti, North Dakota, daughter of Ferdinand and Bertha Beyer. She married Paul Wray in 1945 in Cedar Falls. They later divorced. She married Anton Lund on November 27, 1960, in Waverly. He died August 5, 1971. Mrs. Lund was a nurse at Sartori Memorial Hospital, the Western Home, and the Lutheran Home, then was employed as a night hostess in the dormitories at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 1980.
Survived by: a son, Steve Wray of Cedar Falls; a brother, Leander Beyer of Makoti; and two sisters, Edna Farsdahl of Homer, Alaska, and Racine of Eugene, Oregon. Preceded in death by: a brother, Melvin Beyer. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
