Viola M. Lindaman, 99, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center. She was born June 27, 1910, near Clarksville, daughter of Julius and Sophia Nordman Ringleb. She married John Lindaman on February 24, 1938, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died August 14,1965. Mrs. Lindaman was employed at Finchford Community School for many years and the University of Northern Iowa for twenty-five years.
Survived by: two sons, Marvin Lindaman of Cedar Falls, and Ronald (Glenyce) Lindaman of Panama City, Florida; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: three brothers, Alfred, Frank, and Julius Ringleb; and three sisters, Meta Winkleman, Lela Schrage, and Agnes Heine.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial in Lynwood Cemetery, Clarksville. Public visitation will be an hour before service Saturday at the church. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: may be directed to the Western Home Communities or the family. Condolences may be left at the Dahl Funeral Home website.
