Edward W. Kramer; 82, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Bickford Cottage. He was born March 1,1927, in Waverly, son of Frederick W. and Frieda Freese Kramer. He married Heidi Fehlmann on June 27, 1953, in Waterloo. She died April 5, 2009. Mr. Kramer attended country school near Clarksville and farmed for many years in Butler County. He later worked at the University of Northern Iowa for eighteen years, retiring in 1988. Survived by: a brother, Carl (Valjean) of Brooklyn, New York; a sister, Doris Southard of Cedar Falls; and a .nephew, Ron (Carole) Southard of Buena Vista, Colorado. Preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Alfred; and a brother-in-law, Talmage Southard. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1530 Pleasant Valley Drive, Waterloo. Inurnment will be at a later date in Butler Center Cemetery near Allison. Memorials: may be directed to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses,1530 Pleasant Valley Drive, Waterloo 50701. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
