George Jungling, 71, of Cedar. Falls, died at home Saturday, September 21, 2002, of natural causes. He was born August 29, 1931, in Butler County, son of Henry and Albertdena Tjebkes Jungling. He married Donna Peters on September 2, 1949, in Cedar Falls. She died May 7, 1996. Mr. Jungling worked for the Cedar Lumber Company for twenty-six years and for the University of Northern Iowa for fifteen years. 

Survivors include: two daughters, Connie (Jim) Schuerman of Cedar Falls and Kathie (Paul) Weinfurtner of Blair, Nebraska; two sons, Doug and Ken (Carmen), both of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine Johnston of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: three brothers, Henry, John, and Albert; and two sisters, Annie Osborn and Grace Nielsen. 

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home. The casket will be closed. 

Memorial fund: will be established.
