Professor Frank W. Hill, emeritus faculty member of the School of Music, died Tuesday, February 19, at Sartori Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hill was born in May 1903, in Victor, New York. He received his BM degree in 1930 from the University of Rochester and his MM degree in 1932 from the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York. Mr. Hill came to the University of Northern Iowa in September 1929, and was employed in the School of Music from that time until his retirement in June of 1971. He is survived by his wife Frances and three daughters. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Contribution in his name may be made to the School of Music Scholarship fund or to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
