Marjorie J. Nisius, 67, of Stout, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center of complications from cancer. She was born August 14, 1939, in Waterloo, daughter of Charles and Marcella Nelson Scribner. She married Frank Nisius October 12, 1956, at her mother's home in Waterloo. She was employed at the Barn Cafe in Dike and was the lead custodian at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 1999.
Survived by: her husband; two sons, Tim (Cindy) of Janesville and Tom (Becky Jo) of Waverly; a daughter, Terry (Dennis) Heyenga of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Nisius (Mary) Scribner of Waterloo and Donald Scribner of Nashua; and a sister, Sheila (Ron) Leerhoff of Plainfield
Services: 1 pm Thursday at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 pm today and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home
