Marie Yvonne Murray, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, June 3, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of complications after surgery She was born June 2, 1927, in Greene, daughter of John E. "Jack" and Annie L. Barth Forman. She married Rollin Earl Murray on August 27, 1949, in Maryville, Missouri. He died July 21, 1979. Mrs. Murray was a 1945 graduate of Janesville High School and worked at Plant Services at the University of Northern Iowa , for thirteen years, retiring in 1993.
Survivors include four daughters, Charlene Hughes of Dunkerton and Pam Eckhoff, Janet Murray, and Jolene Whitcomb, all of Cedar Falls; three sons, Richard and David, both of Waterloo, and John of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a brother, Harold Dorman; and three sisters, Marcella Carlson, Vesta Warrick, and Mrs. Murray's twin, Mary Lou Smith. Preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Jean Murray; and a brother, Percy Dorman.
Memorial services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with inurnment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, rural Cedar Falls. There will be no visitation.
