She is survived by her two sons, Kim S. Christopher of Cedar Falls and Kevin Christopher of Ohio, and seven grandchildren.

"Mrs. C.", as she was known to the faculty, staff, and students of the UNI Chemistry Department, began her duties as stockroom supervisor in Fall 1962. At that time, the Chemistry stockroom was located on the top floor of the old science building, now the Physics Building. In 1968, the department moved to McCollum Science Hall where "Mrs. C" set up the new stockroom. She retired in 1983 from UNI, but her influence, gentle nature, and wonderful smile live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
