Marguirette May Struble, 101, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, August 15, 2002, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes. She was born May 29,1901, near Iowa City, daughter of Elmer and Ruthetta Armstrong Struble. She received her bachelor of arts degree, her master of arts degree, and her doctorate in philosophy, all from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. For more than forty years she taught Latin and French in the Rock Rapids school system, then the University of Iowa High School, Iowa City, and later at Price Lab School, Cedar Falls, until retirement. 

Survived by: a niece, Leota Buckroyd of Fort Dodge; two-grandnephews; and four great-grandnieces. Preceded in death by: a sister, Fay Hartsock. 

Services: 2 p.m. Monday, at United Church of Christ, Cedar Falls, with committal service at 11 a.m. Tuesday in North Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Dodge. Friends may call for an hour before services Monday at the church. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Memorials: may be directed to the church fellowship fund.
